Dear Hurricane Earl,

in combination with hurricane danielle, looks like we will have to evacuate tomorrow. five days early. lametown. on the plus side, this means either a roadtrip to nashville (fingerscrossed) or stopping off in Boston to visit my favourite cousin everrrr. either way, no more beach :(

“When you come to the end of all the light you know, and it’s time to step into the darkness of the unknown, faith is knowing that one of two things shall happen: Either you will be given something solid to stand on or you will be taught to fly.” — Edward Teller (via quote-book) (via hit-or-miss)

“When I was 17, I read a quote that went something like: “If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you’ll most certainly be right.” It made an impression on me, and since then, for the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: “If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?” And whenever the answer has been “No” for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.” —Steve Jobs (via quote-book)
